Pregnancy Yoga Classes

Gentle, calming prenatal yoga sequences focusing on preparing your body for birth; with controlled stretching, focusing on building strength and opening up key areas in the body to help during your pregnancy.
Classes will include pranayama (breathing) techniques, pelvic floor exercises, partner work and birthing positions. Each session will also include meditation and mindfulness that will focus on the connection between mother and baby.
Yoga-based exercises can maximise your chances of having a straightforward birth and they can also be enjoyed by those planning a Caesarean birth.
Researchers in the UK have studied the effects of yoga on pregnant women, and found that it can reduce the risk of them developing anxiety and depression. Participants often report improved comfort in their bodies, better quality of sleep and anxiety and stress is reduced through the gentle union of mind, body and breath.
All of this, plus, spend time with women experiencing the same. Enjoy this time to swap stories, connect with other mums-to-be and maybe create friendships to last!
